In addition to the return of J.K. Robbins last week, Marcus Peters practiced for the first time during individual drills at training camp on Monday.

Peters tore his ACL in practice last year before the regular season began which led to him missing the entire season. It was the first time in his career that he missed substantial playing time. Now that he is working his way into the mix, Coach Harbaugh said they have a plan to ensure he gets back to full strength.

Coach Harbaugh says there is a plan for easing Marcus Peters back into action and each individual coming off the physically unable to perform list has their own plan. #Ravens #RavensFlock pic.twitter.com/H97Dj5mcPa
— Double Take Sports (@dbltakesports) August 15, 2022

Although Peters is limited in practice, he is a welcome presence to his teammates, bringing back energy, talent, and veteran experience to the defense.

“It boosts the energy a lot,” rookie defensive back Damarion “Pepe” Williams said. “MP, he is a vet, big dog basically. He’s been making a lot of plays in the NFL. Being a rookie, I look up to the great guys that make plays. It was good to see that he’s improving and making the strides to be ready. This team is very talented and we just got a whole lot better with him on the field.”

When Peters is on the field he is known for his ball hawking abilities. Prior to his injury, he accumulated 7 interceptions, 19 passes defensed, and two touchdowns for the Ravens. Throughout his career, he’s ushered in 31 interceptions, six touchdowns, and 86 passes defensed.

Another look at Marcus Peters who is off the PUP list as of today. #RavensFlock pic.twitter.com/Pmbx16I1gS
— Double Take Sports (@dbltakesports) August 15, 2022

Second-year safety Ar’Darius Washigton also returned to practice alongside Peters after breaking his foot midway through the season.
