Although it has been a tough road securing two victories, the Mystics never lost hope or got too lost in the frustration. Instead, they continued to work together towards a common goal of winning.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe keep finding a way to grind. We keep finding a way to push,\u201d Ariel Atkins said. \u201cAnd my favorite thing about this team, and I\u2019ll say it time and time again, is that we do it together. Like there is no separation. There\u2019s no pointing fingers. We\u2019re just sticking together. And I wouldn\u2019t want to go through the season with any other group of people to be honest with you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Atkins also went on to discuss the friendship that the team has formed and how that has helped get through the tough stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think we see it in practice. And when we were building our team in training camp. We got a good group of people, and everybody wants everybody to succeed. There\u2019s not one person here that\u2019s like, I\u2019m trying to get mine,\u201d Atkins said. \u201cI think we\u2019re all locked into each other and want each other to play to our strengths. At the end of the day, we\u2019re all competitors, and we want to win.
