The Washington Wizards have officially released their 2025-26 regular season schedule, and it’s full of intriguing matchups, holiday showdowns, and national TV moments that fans won’t want to miss.

Washington will tip off the season on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, Oct. 22, before returning home to Capital One Arena for their home opener against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday, Oct. 26 where fans can get their first look at the Wizards new rookies.

Among the most notable highlights:

  • Streaming Spotlight: For the first time ever, the Wizards will be featured on NBCU’s Peacock when they visit the Pistons on Nov. 10, and later on Amazon Prime when they host the Bucks on Jan. 29.
  • Holiday Games: Washington will be in action on New Year’s Eve at Milwaukee, MLK Day at home vs. the Clippers (3 p.m. tip), and Easter Sunday on the road at Brooklyn.
  • Post-Holiday Homestand: After Christmas, the Wizards host three straight games vs. Toronto (Dec. 26), Memphis (Dec. 28), and Phoenix (Dec. 29).
  • Longest Homestand: A five-game stretch from Jan. 27–Feb. 3 brings marquee teams to the District, including the Lakers, Kings, and Knicks.
  • Longest Road Trip: Washington hits the road for another five-game swing in late March, wrapping on the West Coast with visits to Utah, Golden State, Portland, and the Lakers.

The 2025-26 season also includes Washington’s participation in the Emirates NBA Cup, with group play matchups in November, including a home date with the Cavs (Nov. 7) and a road game against the Raptors (Nov. 21).

Back-to-backs remain a theme again this season, with 16 sets in total—matching last year’s load—including six home-home matchups. Notably, the Wizards will host the Pacers on back-to-back nights (Feb. 19 & 20) right after the All-Star break.

Fans can also look forward to 21 weekend home games, offering plenty of opportunities to catch the action live—including six Sunday contests with early tip times.

All games will air locally on Monumental Sports Network, with audio streaming on the Wizards appTeam 980, and WFED 1500.
