Twitter campaign displays celebrity manifestations

Twitter took a unique approach to motivate their users and people everywhere with the launch of the “manifestation” billboard ad campaign in eight locations across the United States and Canada.

The campaign features tweets from twelve celebrity athletes and entertainers who made their dreams a reality.

The highlighted athletes and celebrities include Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Leonard Fournette, WNBA player Michaela Onyenwere, NASCAR superstar Bubba Wallace, Insecure creator Issa Rae, and singers Megan Thee Stallion and Demi Lovato to name a few.

Their old tweets from before they were stars or reached major milestones in their careers were shared on billboards in their home cities to showcase how they manifested their dreams.

For example, Fournette tweeted in 2014, “Can’t wait til’ I play in that Super Bowl.” Seven years later, he won a Super Bowl ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In 2013, Michaela Onyenwere posted “my dream is to be in the WNBA.” She is now a member of the New York Liberty.

The ad campaign is part of a charitable effort in which Twitter will donate $1 million to nonprofits on behalf of the stars, including Boys and Girls Club, Destination Crenshaw, The 3-D Foundation, and UNICEF Canada.
