The WNBA announced that Chicago will host the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, with the Chicago Sky serving as official co-hosts for the league’s biggest weekend of the summer.
The All-Star Game tips off Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the United Center, bringing the WNBA’s brightest stars to one of basketball’s most iconic arenas. The Sky will help lead all local events and activations while showcasing its new training complex.
The celebration kicks off the day before with the following:
- 3-Point Contest and Kia WNBA Skills Challenge on Friday, July 24, at Wintrust Arena, home of the Chicago Sky.
- WNBA Live fan festival at McCormick Place, bringing together basketball, fashion, music, and culture.
- Community events across the city and at the Sky’s new Bedford Park practice facility, highlighting youth engagement and local impact.
This will be the second time Chicago hosts WNBA All-Star, following a successful 2022 edition. WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert called it “a city that delivers unforgettable competition and community energy.”
“We can’t wait to build on the success of the previous All-Star Game and celebrate the explosive growth of the WNBA,” said Sky CEO and President Adam Fox. “Chicago is ready to welcome fans from around the globe and show what women’s basketball means to this city.”
As the WNBA continues to expand its reach and impact, the return of All-Star Weekend to Chicago’s is the perfect backdrop for the league’s next big moment.
